Gutgrowing

Here’s the new favourite of bear and bulking enthusiasts, Gutgrowing, also known by his real name, Eugene Guye. At 26 years old, standing 6’2″ tall and already weighing in at 359 lbs, this Australia-based “hog”—a term he uses for himself—has quickly become one of the most well-known figures in the gainer community.

Although his journey into extreme bulking is relatively recent, his transformation and dedication speak volumes. Gutgrowing wasn’t always known for his massive size. Up until 2015, he was an active rugby player, maintaining a strict training regimen and disciplined lifestyle. But something shifted—he turned away from competitive sports and instead embraced a lifestyle of deliberate weight gain through what he refers to as “dirty eating.”

His goal is ambitious: to surpass 400 lbs. But what sets him apart is not just the number on the scale—it’s his love for the process itself. For Gutgrowing, it’s not simply about becoming bigger; it’s about the pleasure and fascination of gaining weight, the sensual and psychological joy that comes from watching the body expand. “Gaining is an art form,” he says.

From the very beginning, Gutgrowing meticulously documented his journey. He started by sharing photos and videos within closed gainer circles and through a private website. Eventually, he launched gutgrowing.com, where fans could follow his transformation more intimately.

His biggest move, however, came with the creation of gainervids.com—a video-sharing platform dedicated to the gainer community. This site became a new hub for enthusiasts, hosting videos from other gainers and encouraging the formation of a broader online subculture.

Gutgrowing’s popularity is no accident. He speaks openly about the pleasures and challenges of the gainer lifestyle, and his friendly, approachable personality makes him feel more like a peer than a distant icon. His videos often showcase colossal eating sessions, where he consumes thousands of calories in one sitting. With humor and energy, he discusses his goals, milestones, and philosophies. “I don’t want to stop. 180 kg is just the beginning,” he says with a smile.
