Dave Marshall

At 29 years old, Dave Marshall is not your typical wrestler. Living in Australia, Dave has become a figure of strength, resilience, and heartfelt generosity in the gay community — particularly among gay bears, who admire not only his rugged masculinity but also the deep compassion behind his bold choices.

Dave first came into the public eye under tragic circumstances. After the death of his father by suicide, he launched an OnlyFans account — a platform where fans pay to view adult content created by the user. Through this platform, Dave began sharing sexually explicit photos and videos, with a very specific goal in mind: raising money for mental health causes.

His fans responded with enthusiasm and support. Within a short time, Dave had raised over $3,500 and donated the entire sum to Beyond Blue, a well-known suicide prevention organization in Australia. However, when Beyond Blue learned the funds originated from amateur adult content, they requested that Dave withdraw the donation. Undeterred, Dave redirected his efforts to another mental health organization, one more open-minded and accepting. They welcomed the donation — which by then had grown to over $5,500— with open arms. Dave had doubled the contribution himself. “This money came from the community that loves and supports me,” Dave said at the time. “This is how I give back.”

Before embracing his identity and the gay wrestling scene, Dave lived a very different life. Until the age of 25, he was in a heterosexual relationship. Though he had secretly dated boys during high school, he kept those experiences hidden from everyone around him.

Wrestling was always his dream. Since he was 10 years old, Dave trained at the gym 2 to 4 times a week, committed to building a body worthy of the ring. But it wasn’t until 2015, at the age of 26, that his dream came true — and that he came out as gay. His coming out was met with acceptance by his family, and he amicably ended his relationship with his girlfriend.

Today, Dave lives proudly and openly as a gay man. He wrestles professionally, and continues to use his platform — whether in the ring or online — to promote strength, mental health awareness, and unapologetic self-expression. For many in the bear community, Dave Marshall is more than just a sexy wrestler. He’s a role model: a man who turned personal tragedy into a mission of love, and who fights not only for victory in the ring — but for the people who need it most.
