Tony Gilkinson came up with the idea of The BEARatones in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1996. The group was originally created to be a trio but before The BEARatones could even get its feet wet, Tony made some life changes and moved to Seattle Washington.
Since then, the group has seen various line-ups changes and the current (and strongest) incarnation of the group is by far the most successful with performances around the country and soon around the world.
The group features 5 singers and sing mostly original songs that range from the silly to the sublime.
